What is this Personal Brand challenge?
This is part of a 30-day challenge where I’m building my personal brand, publicly, imperfectly, and with a bit of sarcasm.

Day 5 – All about your Bio
Today’s prompt
Challenge task: Write a clear bio for your social media.
Sounds simple, right?
But writing your own bio is like writing your own dating profile:
- You don’t want to sound desperate.
- You don’t want to sound arrogant.
- And somehow, you’re supposed to summarize everything about yourself… in one sentence?
Honestly, it sounded harder than it turned out to be. But here’s the twist:
If you’ve done the previous 4 days of this challenge properly… this one is a piece of cake.
The clarity effect
What I realized today is this:
If your “why” is clear… the “how” becomes easier.
And the keyword here is clear.
If you’re clear on:
- Who you are
- What you know
- What you offer
- And what problem you solve…
Then writing your bio is just writing what’s already true, in simple, confident words.
Here’s mine (in English and Spanish):
English:
I help local businesses attract and convert more customers online, without ads, gimmicks, or fluff.
Websites, email, SEO, and reputation, designed to get you results.
Español:
Ayudo a negocios locales a atraer y convertir más clientes en línea, sin anuncios, sin trucos, sin palabrería.
Sitios web, email, SEO y reputación online… diseñados para dar resultados.
A little tip if you’re stuck
If you’re having trouble writing your own bio, here’s a cheat code:
Ask 3 people who know you well:
“If you had to describe me in 3 words… what would they be?”
Then take those words, and build from there.
Start simple. Clarity > cleverness.
You’re not trying to impress everyone. You’re trying to connect with someone.
💡 Bonus of the day
It doesn’t matter how much you know,
What matters is how clearly you explain it…
and how people perceive that message.
Final thoughts
So yeah, writing your bio gets easier when you stop overthinking and just tell the truth, clearly and confidently.
Now go open a doc, stretch your fingers…
and start typing.
Or don’t.
(I mean, it’s your brand we’re talking about, not mine.)
